I’m revisiting my songs these days and I start to release stripped-down versions. My records feature full bands, but most of the time I tour solo or duo. For the past three years, I’ve worked a lot with a musical coach to rearrange and perform my songs alone with my guitar. Basically, it’s more or less the same parts, but we worked on details and dynamics. It makes them sound different to me, so I wanted to render this! This month, it’s the turn of Your Smile Is Cold. A rootsy kids’ nylon guitar, a few notes of cello, and that’s it!
